It was founded in September 1995 by Jamie Mariona with a small group of NTID Hispanic Students. H.D.C. leads the RIT/NTID community and helps Hispanic students to succeed at RIT/NTID. The organization is open to all Hispanic and non-Hispanic, deaf or hearing and encourages students to learn about Hispanic cultures traditions, activities, and participate in Hispanic/non Hispanic community.
